Construction Safety What is workplace safety?   Workplace safety involves the methods and  practises put in place to make sure that the  safety and health of employees within a  workplace in upheld and secured. Why is it important? Workplace safety is important because without it there would be accidents leading to injury or death. Also not following policies and safety protocol can mean that the machinery used to do the work can be damaged as well. Either way it would both hurt the workers and the efficiency of the work done. Everyone loses when safety is not upheld. Who is responsible?     The responsibility falls on both the employers  and employees to make sure the workplace is  safe.   What is PPE? Personal Protective equipment is the tools and gear used to ensure the workers safety while working on a site.
